HOW TO INSTALL
- Choose the Right Location – Ensure the floor is flat, clean and dry.
- Measure and Prepare – Measure the space where you want to install the gym mat to ensure it fits properly; and get them ready.
- Secure the Mat – Once you have completes lining them up, use a rubber hammer to squeeze them onto the clips. For added stability, you may use double-sided carpet tape or mat glue to secure the edges of the mat to the floor.
- Trimming (if necessary) – If your mat is larger than the space, you may need to trim it to fit using a utility knife or scissors. Make sure you mark the gym mat before trimming.
- Test the Installation – Walk or apply light pressure on the mat to ensure it is securely in place and won’t shift during use.
- Maintenance – periodically check the mat for any wear and tear. Clean the mat according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
HOW TO CLEAN
- Sweep or Vacuum – Start by removing loose dirt, dust, and debris from the mat’s surface using a broom, brush, or vacuum cleaner. This helps prevent scratching during the cleaning process.
- Spot Cleaning – If there are specific stains or spot that you want to clean, spot clean them using a mild detergent or a rubber mat cleaner. Mix a small amount of detergent with water and apply the solution to the stained areas. Use a soft cloth or sponge to gently scrub the stains, then wipe the area with a clean, damp cloth.
- Full Mat Cleaning – Prepare a cleaning solution using a mild detergent or a specialized rubber mat cleaner. You can also use a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) for a natural cleaning solution.
- Regular Maintenance – Establish a routine for regular cleaning to prevent the buildup of dirt and contaminants. Depending on usage, clean the rubber gym mat at least once a week or more frequently if necessary.
